DJ MZA - Instagram

I'm honored to share this exclusive set, created and put together by the very talented DJ located in Los Angeles, US. We've been in contact for a while now, but never collaborated on anything in the past, just sharing good vibes and sharing a passion for music in general - but today, that's about to change. DJ MZA has decided to collect some of his favorite tracks and he's made a exclusive mix for the ninetofive® and i couldn't be more honored of sharing this one with you all. If you're not familiar with him, he's a part of the great Mellow Orange collective and founder of the Soul Circle Radio. Here's the full story about him and please remember to show appreciation & love.

DJ MZA isn't just a DJ, he's a true cultural visionary.  Drawing upon a deep background in hip hop, funk, soul, jazz and dance music, over the years he's fine tuned his own signature sound, one that's resonated well with b-boys, b-girls, and music aficionados of LA's eclectic underground.  Nowhere is this more apparent than at The World Famous Bridges & of course on his radio show, Soul Circle Radio.

Always fusing the sounds of house music, jazz, live instrumentalists, visual artists, and a fiercely loyal following of LA's very best dancers. With his ability to interweave thru so many different styles, successfully—places him among the most reputable DJs in Los Angeles. In 2010, Mza launched his very own internet radio show, Soul Circle Radio. The show focuses on all variation of soul music from the past to present.

MZA has shared the stage with many world renowned artists, including  KRS-One, Mark de Clive-Lowe , Karizma, The Beat Junkies, DJ Smash, Daz-I-Kue, Ovasoul7, Lyrics Born, Rob Swift, Souls of Mischief, The Procussions, Gas Lamp Killer, Free The Robots, Freddie Joachim, Ohmega Watts, Lefto, DJ Cam, Exile, Kev Brown, Nu-Mark, Yosaku , Aloe Blacc,  Jimetta Rose, Sa-Ra, Redman, Will.I.Am,  & more.
