The first track from el. upcoming album Beam is here and it takes the same name as the full release we are honored to share with you all that’s following our journey. For me, working with el. all came about super organic, we’ve been talking to eachother 2019 just sharing good energy and now finally we’re honored to be releasing his album Beam together which for me is already a classic.
Scouting through beats from various producers can make you feel you’re in a space where a lot sounds the same – Once you press play on a track from el. it tells a different story, his skills to make those groovy drums, blending the low end with classic elements from the hard hitting boom-bap we grew up on just makes his songs stand out in a different way.
el. approaches the album as explained down below.
“The title ‘Beam’ comes from ‘being on your own light’ in times of darkness. It’s a common phrase but I wanted to both emphasize and personalize my perception of this with my project.
Many of us experience moments in our lives where we may feel lost, confused, and unsure of who to turn to. Speaking from my own experience, I’ve realized in those moments I often discovered my true strength and was able to get through whatever obstacles were blocking me.
I became the ‘light’ I was searching for all along.”
