The new project to set fire to Boukas start after a bit of a hiatus a long the way due to his studies he’s been focusing on the last year. Dub Versions Volume. 1 is here to showcase both a bit of a new sound. I’ve spoken to Boukas and this was his vision for the release.
These songs are versions of demos that I did last year. I decided to process the stems through old samplers, chop them up and re-program the songs. I have been experimenting with a lot of live elements on the songs as well. All of the songs have been blessed with melodica by my good friend Elias Duvner The vibe that I am going for is purely organic and adding elements from a genre that was a huge inspiration to both my relaxed beats and giving back to the roots scene which has dealt a great deal to both my sound & style. All the song are produced, mixed and mastered by myself!
