The first single has arrived from KLIM’s upcoming album Astro Objects, a project that has already seen a limited 12” vinyl release in collaboration with Legacy Echo. Built with intention and a deep respect for craft, the record carries that unmistakable warmth and texture that defines his sound.
As always, KLIM delivers that classic east coast flavored sound paired with melodic notes as usual. Much of the album was crafted on the legendary E-mu SP-1200 & Akai S-900, giving the beats their signature grit, swing, and analog character that really can’t be replicated.
Being able to create such incredible, uplifting beats for listeners worldwide while he himself is in an extremely difficult situation during wartime in Ukraine - where the future remains uncertain, sirens sound through the night, and deep, restorative sleep is hard to come by.
