Frank’s Joint Begins Today With invention's jaewa’s single
A new theme release under the Ninetofive catalogue.
The first single from our latest theme release Frank’s Joint is out today, produced by Canadian beat-maker invention_ titled jaewa. A producer we’ve worked closely with through several solo releases over the years, but also as one of the in-house names involved throughout the upcoming compilation where the entire focus can be narrowed down into two simple things: jazz & beats.
There’s a certain direction we wanted to capture with “Frank’s Joint” from the very beginning. Jazzy grooves with polished arrangements. Each producer involved on the project approaches that feeling differently, which is also what makes the full compilation come together naturally instead of sounding boxed into one formula.
Similar to the rollout behind “High Street 2”, we’ll once again be presenting the producers one by one through individual singles before the entire album lands in early July. It’s a way for listeners to spend more time with each contribution separately while also getting introduced to the people shaping the full project from the inside.
