Gonza shares jazzy new single: Take A Little Time
New release from the Stockholm based producer.
Gonza was one of the early producers in the beatmaking scene who made an impact with his soulful melodies and funky grooves. Today, he’s back with an uplifting new single released on the Ninetofive® catalogue titled “Take A Little Time.”
Over the years, we’ve explored different styles together - starting off with the Beats For Days projects 1, 2, and 3, which found great success with that smooth, soulful groove he’s known for. Later the same year, he invited us to the album Extras, also carrying a soulful vibe, before moving on to Episodes - a more personal record that became part of his journey to Los Angeles to find inspiration and take in new influences (something that can also be seen on the cover).
Earlier this year, we stepped into future inspiration and sound with Lethal Response, where he took us on a futuristic trip featuring 80s-inspired samples and a much rawer attitude. It’s always an adventure exploring his catalogue, and with this new single, I know he’s once again working on something exciting for us all to experience — as his projects often come together with a deeper vision behind them.
