Official Artwork for DJ Andy's - XTC.

It’s been almost over 20 years since we heard the original music that was a part of the two graffiti movies that were released in 2002 by DJ Andy and they’ve actually grown iconic since then. I remember very well the first time i heard these beats and in my mind i couldn’t believe people could snooze on these projects. Back in 2007 i uploaded the tracks on a really old channel and it’s been on there ever since, receiving a lot of comments about why it hasn’t been published or organized. Throughout the time since then, i’ve had chats with DJ Andy about the songs and now we can finally present them on the catalog for you all to stream on any platform and connect with both the nostalgia and movies.

The movie contains a lot of different crews from the Swedish scene at that time and it isn’t region based, some are from the northern part and some from the south – A true gem for sure and a unique approach to have a full soundtrack.

The style & writing during this time is iconic, the pieces have unique touches to them and you almost instantly recognize who the writer is. Throughout the movie you’ll see some of the notorious writers in Sweden with both calm yard action to intense inside ‘bombing‘ with squeezers & markers.

When you press play on the ‘Lady In Red‘ you will hear a majority of the crews that’s a part of the movie giving a shoutout and it’s been recorded for DJ Andy’s release which i feel gives the project such a solid ground and it almost invites you to what’s about to happen.

I hope this release takes you back in time and experience the nostalgia we all feel while both watching these movies & also listening to DJ Andy‘s great soundtrack he produced. For future stuff, i know he’s been working a lot on different projects under a different alias this year which can be found on his official soundcloud page you can find here.

To release this project, we had a different approach and it isn’t the classical beat experience which we try to showcase each week, now we’re going a bit back in time and restoring some great music that’s never been published before, i truly hope you enjoy the work & sounds we’re sharing and make sure to follow both DJ Andy and watch the movies if you havent’!

The vision & the approach for this project is simply to give life to a project that i personally think deserve more attention and making sure the younger generation of both beatmakers & writers around the world to enjoy the movies and soundtrack best way possible. They’ve always played a big role in my life since the beats are so unique.

There’s so much music being made and released nowadays more than everbefore – but theres still a lot of music from the past who deserves to be heard and remembered.

Producers whose work is selected for release on the catalog will have the support of our team in developing high-quality art and with developing a promotional strategy for the release. Our editorial staff also conducts interviews and develops press bios with many of the artists on our roster; we care about helping expose the individuals and stories behind the music.

Since we care about the producer, we aim to keep a in-house membership due to travelling, live-shows and yearly gatherings including support from the crew whenever a producer is releasing something new on the catalog.
